This is a newly formed Team of Family Support Workers who will be working solely with Priority Families, providing a direct service, supporting and advising families and their children and young people in an assertive manner in the short term. It takes referrals from the 5 District Local multi-agency co-ordinating groups and is available countywide. This posts are fixed term until 31 March 2015. Previous applicants need not apply. We are looking for two full time workers based across the County. The Team will work alongside other agencies, involved with the families, in a co-ordinatied way to improve the impact of their support. The Family Support Workers will have support and supervision from a Manager and part time admin support. One of the aims of the service is to make the service available at a time most suitable for the family therefore the Family Support Worker may be required to undertake some work in the evenings and occasionally at weekends. The work covers supporting families aiming the work at issues around attendance at school, behaviour management, relationship issues, routines, supporting as advocates and implementing the Triple P Positive Parenting Programme. Direct work with children and young people-listening to their views, supporting change, building self image, keeping safe, managing emotions, improving communication. Warwickshire County Record Office is seeking a qualified archivist to catalogue the records of Willans and Robinson, a Rugby engineering firm. The post is funded through the National Cataloguing Grants Scheme and the project is to last until June 2015. The post holder will report to the Senior Archivist. The post holder will supervise support staff and volunteers and will be required to be based in Rugby for at least one day per month to liaise with local volunteer groups.
