Changes to Parliamentary Constituency Boundaries

Boundary Commission for England

The Boundary Commission for England has today published its revised proposals for Parliamentary Constituency Boundaries. Full details of the latest proposals can be found at
The result of the latest proposals is:

Coleshill North, Coleshill South and Water Orton remain in the North Warwickshire Constituency (as opposed to being transferred to Meriden)

Weddington remains in the Nuneaton Constituency (as opposed to being transferred to North Warwickshire)

North Warwickshire Constituency would comprise the 17 Borough Council Wards (including Arley and Whitacre and Hartshill) and 5 Wards from Bedworth.

How to have your say

The Boundary Commission are consulting on their revised proposals for an eight-week period, from 16 October 2012 to 10 December 2012. We encourage everyone to use this final opportunity to contribute to the design of the new constituencies - the more public views they hear, the more informed their decisions will be before they make recommendations to the Government.

We ask everyone wishing to contribute to the design of the new constituencies to first look at the revised proposals report, and accompanying maps, before responding to them.
