Procurement and Tender Opportunity

North Warwickshire Borough Council wishes to procure the services of a CDM Consultant to provide planning co-ordinator services for works to be undertaken on the housing major works programme from June 2012 to March 2013. The programme is predominantly refurbishment works which are listed below. Expressions of interest are invited from qualified CDM consultants with expertise in these areas. Composite Doors

Supply and installation of composite fire doors to approximately 22 flats

The works will involve replacement of existing individual flat entrance doors and associated store doors with new FD30s fire rated composite doors and replacement of communal Entrance doors to 14 blocks of flats

Central heating installations

Works consist of boiler replacements to approximately 26 properties including eth removal of  old back boilers and solid fuel systems. 

Installation of full central heating systems and replacement of storage heaters to 178 properties in blocks of flats and removal of electric storage heaters

Re-roofing works

The renewal of roof coverings to approximately35 pitched roof properties and flat roof areas to 1 community centre along with minor roofing repairs to 34 properties

Kitchens/bathrooms

The refurbishment of kitchens and bathrooms to 35 properties

Community Centres

The refurbishment of 2 community centres to make them DDA compliant

External Wall Insulation

The application of external wall insulation and associated render works to 34 properties
