Implementing Electronic Government (IEG)
Electronic Government (e-government)
E-Government, is one part of a wider modernising agenda that will transform the way in which the Council communicates and works with customers. e-government looks to use technology to help to improve and deliver services that customers want, in a format they want and at times and places which are convenient to them. It places people at the centre of service delivery, bringing services together and delivering them seamlessly across traditional departmental and organisational boundaries.
E-government initiatives are being, and will continue to be, implemented by the Council and through working with others such as the County Council so that people can easily use our services and take part in consultation.
The Council is committed to its vision for e-government which is:
"We believe e-government will fundamentally change the way we work as an organisation and will help us to provide high quality service to the people of North Warwickshire. The services will be delivered in a way that best fits the people of North Warwickshire at an affordable cost."
