Community Clean Ups

Organising a Community Clean-up Event

Support for Community Clean ups

The following equipment is available on loan for groups wanting to undertake a community litter pick:

• litter pickers (different sizes for both adults and children)
• high-visibility vests
• gloves
• information on organising a clean-up including health and safety considerations

We can also support your event by supplying bin bags and arranging removal of the rubbish collected.

Community Clean-up Kits

Parish and Town Councils and community groups who undertake regular clean-up activities can receive a free community clean-up kit to help them keep on top of litter and graffiti in their area. The clean-up kits contains litter pickers, gloves, high visibility vests, graffiti removal kits, awareness raising posters and information on environmental issues.

Any group wanting to receive a kit will be asked to complete a short questionnaire with information on their current clean-up activities and what they would like to do in the future.
