North Warwickshire Credit Union

The "people's bank" was officially launched at the Borough Council on 10 August 2000, which will act as one of the collection points. It is run by local people for local people on a voluntary basis and will give members a chance to improve their lives and benefit the community.

You can become a member for a one-off fee of £2.00 as long as you either live or work in the Borough. If you make regular savings you will be able to apply for a loan of up to £5,000 with an interest rate of 12.68% APR and members will also be eligible for dividends. Parents and grandparents can set up trustee accounts for children who can operate them themselves from the age of 10.
