Draft Core Strategy Consultation Begins

Consultation has now begun on the Draft Core Strategy for North Warwickshire.

The Core Strategy is the key document in the Local Development Framework (LDF) and will shape development up to 2026 and beyond.

It will affect everyone in North Warwickshire and it must reflect local needs and the views of the community.

It also contains the following:

• A vision for North Warwickshire and its strategic objectives up to 2026 and how we will achieve them
• Identify the overall level of different types of development (including housing, and employment)
• Identify the links with, and support the delivery of, other key strategies and plans, including the          Sustainable Community Strategy
• It sets out how the Core Strategy is to be implemented, monitored and reviewed

Consultation on this document and other supporting documents took place from Thursday 20th October until Thursday 12 January 2012.  The Consultation is now CLOSED.
