Callous thieves have broken into the mobile Branching Out Bus and stolen a laptop and generator worth an estimated £2,000.

B.O.B the Branching Out  Bus has been successfully taking debt and money advice to rural communities in North Warwickshire for the past two years.  Over the weekend of 16th December, thieves forced their way into the Carlyon Way unit where the bus is garaged, smashed the passenger window and stole the project's laptop. They then stole the generator which essentially provides power for the bus's photocopier, laptop and other electrical items.

Bob Dettmer, the project's Driver/Assistant said:

" This was a calculated act as the thieves were obviously familiar with the bus and where it's kept when not on the road.  I'm even more upset for our customers who won't be able to use the service until we complete the repairs. "

Anyone who has any information about the crime should report it to the Police on their non-emergency number of 101.
