North Warwickshire Borough Council employs around 500 staff, most are based in Atherstone at the Council Offices on South Street and at Old Bank House on Long Street but also at the Sheepy Road depot in Atherstone and at the Leisure Centres at Atherstone, Arley, Polesworth and Coleshill.
Councillors, MPs, MEPs, Parish and Town Councillors and Mayor
The Council has 35 democratically elected Councillors. They are responsible for making decisions on behalf of the local community about local services and are there to represent its views.
We are a Labour controlled council as there are 18 Labour and 17 Conservatives Councillors
Meetings, minutes and agendas
You can attend most Council meetings, obtain meeting papers and ask questions at meetings. You also have the opportunity to speak at the Planning and Development Board.
