Grass Maintenance
The team is responsible for grass cutting in parks, open spaces and sheltered schemes. They are also responsible for grassed areas throughout the Borough including those of Warwickshire County Council. Maintenance of the cemetery situated at Coleshill is also undertaken on behalf of the respective Town Council.
Grass cutting starts late March early April and continues throughout the growing season. They average around twelve cuts per season although this may vary owing to weather conditions.

Gardens
The areas maintained by the team are visited regularly throughout the year to remove weed growth and litter. Pruning will generally take place during the winter months.
Trees
The trees located on Borough land have routine maintenance carried out during the winter. Any emergency situations are dealt with as they occur.
Play Areas
The Borough has a number of play areas in the recreation fields and parks throughout the area. These are regularly visited to ensure that the equipment is safe. The areas are litter picked and the bins emptied.Online Form - Play Facilities
Sports Pitches
The team also maintains sports pitches on the Borough recreation fields. This includes grass cutting, marking out pitches and the provision of posts for rugby and football pitches. The bowling green in Abbey Green Park, Polesworth is also part of a routine maintenance schedule.
