Alvecote Priory
The Priory is on the edge of Alvecote village. It can be reached by going one mile north along an unclassified road Robey's Lane, on right at top of hill coming from Polesworth before market site/karting) off the B5000 between Polesworth and Tamworth, one mile from Polesworth.
The site is within the grounds of the Alvecote Priory. Walks can be enjoyed along the canal, and along the old mine towards the newly created Pooley Field Heritage Centre. Our Polesworth walk passes through the site.
