About Partnership and Development
Jo Rooke is the Health Improvement Co-ordinator and is responsible for co-ordinating the contributions of the Borough Council, the North Warwickshire Primary Care Trust and other partners to health improvement action within the Borough, including the co-ordination of related activity throughout the authority.
The Health Improvement Co-ordinator's role is also to work with partners to develop and contribute to initiatives designed to improve people's health and well-being.
Projects to date have included the revision of the A-Z Guide to Older People's Services the Health Map (A guide to transport and healthcare in Rural North Warwickshire). The HIC is involved in a variety of projects which tackle the government's health priorities and the particular health priorities of Rural North Warwickshire.
