Administrative and Validation Charges
Administration fees deducted from planning fee refund if an application is returned as invalid, or withdrawn before validation, and work has been undertaken in respect of it:
Householder/advertisement/prior notification – £45
For other types where fee < £2,500 – £100
For other applications where fee ≥ £2,500 – £200

Public Rights of Way Diversion/Stopping Up
An (indicative) charge of £2,500 total administration cost is specified for a TCPA diversion application - split into staged payments: £1,500 on submission, £1,000(+/-) on acceptance.
The larger sum will be sought on application submission because press notice and officer time costs are incurred early in the process.
The Council will seek to recover actual costs for processing Public Path Order applications, with charges varied and agreed on a case-by-case basis. This will be addressed by bespoke additional invoice or reimbursement, based on officer time, advertising and legal costs.
High Hedges Applications
£550 per high hedges complaint.
