Coronavirus Rubbish and Recycling Service Updates
Emptying your waste bins
We are unable to collect side waste due to the pressure the services are already under and the need to keep waste contained to ensure that it can be stored and emptied safely in order to protect the public and our staff from Covid-19.
Our workforce has already been impacted by Coronavirus and we wish to ensure that we can maintain our current level of service as long as possible. This will mean that any bins not collected due to access issues may remain uncollected until the next scheduled service date.
We will continue to provide collections where we can access your bins, but residents will be aware that we have a responsibility to the wider public and our employees to ensure that our staff can operate safely and efficiently. We appreciate that parking will be problematic in many areas, but if residents can be mindful of the access needs of key Utilities, Council and Emergency Services vehicles that will be a great help.
We will continue to provide all waste collections as long as it is practicable to do so. However, following the latest Government announcements concerning isolation rightly leading to an ever increasing number of residents staying home, we are finding that the sheer volume of parked cars, especially in narrow residential streets is making progress very slow at times.
Please work with us and help us keep North Warwickshire safe and clean.
