Fitness Class Descriptions
Abs-Attack: A 30 minute blast focusing on the abs. With a focus on training for core strength and flat tummy toning.
Barbell Pump: A weight based fitness class performed to music. Participants choose their weights advised by the Instructor based on the exercise and their personal goals. A whole body tone and conditioning session.
Block fit: Although not as scary as it sounds, this class is designed to push you that little bit harder with the motivation of the Instructor and the group. A high fat burn varied workout that will boost fitness levels.
Circuits: High intensity workouts that will challenge your aerobic and anaerobic limits. Cardio, resistance and body weight training techniques will be applied as you move quickly between stations. A fat burning, toning workout.
Fighting Fit: Combines body weight, muscle conditioning, cardio and plyometric training moved synced to original music that has been specially designed.
FitBike: Take your cardio workouts to the next level. Stationary bikes are used to go through high resistance sections, sprint sections and climbs. One of the best ways to burn calories in a single session!
FitBox: Workout with boxing fitness, combining pad work with other boxing circuit exercises for that more engaging fun total body training.
Fitness Over Fifty: This class brings variety every week. Take part in various aerobics, holistic and dance movement fitness in a low impact fun and social environment focused on cardio health and fitness.
Kettlebell: Get fit, shed fat and build muscle, kettlebells are a great way to use ballistic weight training to get in shape. With the guidance of the Instructor you'll use new moves to burn fat and tone in all the right places.
Legs, Bums & Tums: A true classic, focusing on those traditionally problematic areas. Aerobic and conditioning exercises combine to tone muscles and torch calories. The perfect way to get the body you're looking for!
Low Impact Aerobics: Want a fun fitness workout without the high impact on the joints? This class gives you the benefits of a normal aerobics workout without the worry.
Pilates: An exciting and unique form of exercise that strengthens the core muscles, improves flexibility, posture and spinal health. Relaxing and rejuvenating.
RIG Fit: Rig classes offer an efficient and effective 30 minute blast with the gym team, making use of the Functional Training Rig. A high calorie bum option, these classes should recruit more muscle fibres and push your limits.
Clubbercise: Put the ‘night out’ into your workout. Fun easy to follow aerobic routines to 90’s club anthems. Because of its high/low impact options Clubbercise is great if you are just starting out or a fitness fanatic.
Tai Chi: A meditation in movement. It relaxes, cuts stress and tension, boosting energy and revitalising those tired muscles. Great for skill levels and experience.
Yoga: During a vinyasa yoga class you will move through a flowing series of poses using the breath inhaling and exhaling into and out of postures. Physically you build strength, flexibility, improve respiratory function and range of motion. This class relaxes and calms the mind.
