Business support - Go for Growth

Go For Growth hotline launched

The Coventry and Warwickshire Chamber of Commerce is offering businesses support following the EU referendum – whatever the outcome.

The Chamber, which has been established for more than 110 years, says it will offer support to firms who fear their business could be affected by the decision and those who actually see it as an opportunity to get their business growing.

The Go For Growth Post Referendum Telephone Support will go live from Monday 27 June and advisers will be available to offer impartial support to businesses.

Louise Bennett, the chief executive of the Coventry and Warwickshire Chamber of Commerce, said:

“We have stayed neutral throughout the campaign but as the result draws ever nearer, we felt it was right to give businesses across Coventry and Warwickshire the reassurance that the Chamber will be here to listen and support, whatever the result on Friday morning.

The referendum is a huge decision and will affect companies across this area but the Chamber has been here for businesses through the ups and downs of the economy and firms across the patch should know that they have somewhere to turn if they need to talk.

The run-up to the referendum has, without doubt, put the economy into a bit of limbo with some not wanting to make decisions until they know the outcome.

So, whether we have decided to stay in or come out of the EU by Friday, businesses will undoubtedly want to focus on their prosperity and growth and we are here, as always, to support.

That’s why we’ve launched the Go For Growth Post Referendum Support Line that will allow companies to talk to us at the earliest opportunity.”
