Warwickshire County Council Elections 2017

Elections are taking place this year across Warwickshire for the council period 2017-2021 and all county council seats are up for election.   In North Warwickshire there are 7 county divisions.

Polling day is on Thursday 4 May 2017. Polling stations will open from 7am to 10pm. The election count will start immediately following closure of the polls. The results will be announced later in the evening.

Coleshill Town Council North Ward By-Election

A vacancy has arisen for the North Ward of Coleshill Town Council following a recent resignation.  Polling day is on Thursday 4 May 2017.  Polling stations will open from 7 am to 10pm.

Neighbourhood Plan Referendums 

Neighbourhood Planning referendums for Austrey and Coleshill will also take place on Thursday 4 May 2017.

Are you already Registered to Vote? 

Most people will already be registered to vote but if you have recently moved, changed your name or turned 18  you may need to update your details by registering again.  Go online to register to vote .   If you're not sure if you're registered to vote Ask Us.  You must register by Thursday 13 April 2017 to be able to vote in the elections on 4 May 2017.

Unable to get to the polling station on 4 May 2017?

If you are unable to vote in person on polling day, you can apply to vote by post or by proxy (where you appoint someone to vote on your behalf).

Apply for a postal vote - Please note that the deadline to apply to vote by post at this election is 5 pm on Tuesday 18 April 2017. 

Apply to vote by proxy - Please note that the deadline to apply to vote by proxy at this election is 5 pm on Tuesday 25 April 2017.
