Polling Station Review 2018/2019

Notice of Review of Polling Districts, Polling Places and Polling Stations

Section 18 (c) of Representation of the People Act 1983 (as amended)

The Borough Council, must undertake a compulsory review of polling districts and polling places within its area, in accordance with the time period set out in the above section. We are looking for feedback on any aspect of polling districts and/or polling places currently used and invite representation and comments from interested persons.

Local political parties and councillors will be consulted and views are invited from electors within the Parliamentary Constituencies of North Warwickshire Borough. We would welcome representations from those with expertise in relation to access to premises, or facilities, for persons who have different forms disability.

Although the review is of polling districts and polling places, it is accepted that polling stations are inexorably linked to the review and comments are invited regarding those stations currently used and/or any suggested alternatives.

Persons or bodies making representations should, if possible, give alternative places that may be used as polling places.  Any representations will be published as part of the review.

The consultation period for the review will commence on 23 August 2019 and ends on 11 October 2019.

Comments and representations should be included in the online survey.

Information regarding the current polling districts and places can be found on the Council website or from Electoral Services at the above address.
