Contributing Factors to Poor Health
In order to study and respond to the factors contributing to Atherstone/Mancetter’s poor health outcomes, we will need to do the following.
To support Public Health Warwickshire to conduct an in-depth study of a place-based Health Needs Assessment focused on Atherstone / Mancetter. From that, agree through the Health and Wellbeing Working Party (HWWP) the key health messages and organise a series of community events to disseminate those key health messages by delivering one health event per hub per year. Also, using the data from the Health Needs Assessment we will help with the planning and provision of health and wellbeing services in Atherstone/Mancetter by sharing the health statistics and their causal factors to the Community Hubs and local GPs.
As well as this we plan to organise at least one Big Day Out (BDO) event in Atherstone/Mancetter each year.
