Hatters Memorial Garden

Friends of Atherstone Heritage

The Project

North Warwickshire Borough Council are working in Partnership with Friends of Atherstone Heritage to redesign the grass area on Meadow Street. The idea is to create a Memorial to the Hatting history of Atherstone, an 'outdoor museum' which can be enjoyed by the community but that also illustrates the heritage of the town. This project is subject to an application for funding to a number of funding bodies such as Heritage Lottery Fund and The Arts Council.

Tell us what you think?

We have held a number of events to allow the community to have their say on the design of Meadow Street Gardens and we now have two concept designs. Please take a look at both designs and then complete an online survey to have your say.

Survey closed on 23rd September 2018.

To find out more about the project or to become involved please contact the Community Development Team.
