3.5 hours per week average (annualised hours)

A Site Supervisor is required to oversee the running of several sporting areas within the facility of the Queen Elizabeth Sports Village within Queen Elizabeth School in Atherstone. Duties will include opening and locking up the three astro pitches, indoor sports hall and the two function rooms, liaising with and supervising hirers using the pitches and the changing areas, and ensuring that all equipment is set out correctly. You will be required to undertake equipment change-overs and maintain a litter free facility.

The annual hours will be divided into two time periods, one for summer and one for winter. Summer will normally be from April to September and winter will normally be from October to March. Each period equals 26 weeks. Weather conditions could cause the start of the summer period to vary by up to 2 weeks. However the length of each period will remain at 26 weeks.

The hours for each period shall be as follows:
Summer – 2.5 hours per week – 6:15 pm – 8:45 pm
Winter – 4.5 hours per week – 5:15 pm – 9:45 pm

This post is exempted under the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and, as such, appointment will be conditional upon receipt of a satisfactory response to a check of criminal records via the Disclosure and Barring Service, before the appointment is confirmed. This will include details of cautions, reprimands or final warnings, as well as convictions. A Standard Disclosure will be required.
