Bordering major Midlands towns and cities and having an extensive green belt, the development control work in North Warwickshire is varied, dynamic and challenging. Balancing the protection of the countryside with the accommodation of large scale residential and employment development presents an exciting and challenging workload.

We are looking for experienced Principal Officers in our Development Control and Enforcement Teams who can be key contributors to the management of development in the Borough.

You will be working in a very busy team dealing in the main with complex and major planning applications. You will have a small team under your direction. A thorough knowledge of the full range of planning practice, policy and procedure is essential for this post and you will require strong communication and organisational skills.

The post requires you to hold a full valid driving licence and have access to a vehicle.
