The Council is focused on improving the quality of life for everyone who lives, works in or visits the Borough. We need you if you can help us to deliver positive and lasting change to North Warwickshire’s green spaces for the benefit of both the community and the environment.
This is a maternity cover and your job will be to provide a professional service in respect of the management and development of the Borough Council’s green and open space.
You will be developing proposals for the improvement and maintenance of parks, recreation grounds, play areas and open spaces. You will be working with colleagues, partners and the community on the consultation and implementation of the new draft Green Space and Playing Pitch Strategy for the Borough. You will also be assisting in responding to enquiries from members of the public, town and parish councils and community groups.

It is essential that you have a suitable horticultural qualification, or equivalent, and relevant experience within the green space environment.
This post is exempted under the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and, as such, appointment will be conditional upon receipt of a satisfactory response to a check of criminal records via the Disclosure and Barring Service, before the appointment is confirmed. This will include details of cautions, reprimands or final warnings, as well as convictions. A Standard Disclosure will be required.
