North Warwickshire Borough Council has launched the North Warwickshire Prosperity Fund (NWPF), a new £2 million grant programme designed to support community, business, and local development projects
The scheme was formally approved by councillors at the recent Executive Board meeting on Monday 23rd March 2026 and will open for applications from Wednesday 1st April 2026.
Building on the success of the UK Shared Prosperity Fund (UKSPF) and Rural England Prosperity Fund (REPF), which allocated £2,460,639 to more than 100 projects between 2022 and 2025, the NWPF aims to continue fostering prosperity in North Warwickshire communities.
The fund is open to a wide range of applicants, including town and parish councils, voluntary sector organisations, and private sector entities.
Projects can apply for funding for up to two years, with all grants to be spent by 31 March 2028. There is no minimum or maximum funding amount.
The North Warwickshire Prosperity Fund represents a £2 million investment in the borough’s future, supporting initiatives that improve quality of life, foster economic growth, and enhance local communities.
Councillor David Wright, Leader of the Council, said:
“The North Warwickshire Prosperity Fund will provide vital support for local organisations and groups, helping them deliver projects that benefit residents and strengthen our communities. We encourage all eligible organisations to apply and make a lasting impact in the borough.”
