Mayor Debbie Bates ends her term in North Warwickshire after raising £4,376.31 for local charities. Community groups can apply for funding by 19 June 2026.

Councillor Debbie Bates is marking the end of her time as Mayor of North Warwickshire by reflecting on a successful year supporting local people, promoting good causes and raising money across the borough.

During her time in office, Councillor Bates has worked tirelessly attending a variety of events and championing causes that make a real difference to people’s lives.

She has successfully raised an impressive £4376.31. The funds will be distributed to a range of local community groups within North Warwickshire.

Councillor Debbie Bates said:

“It has been a huge honour to serve the people of North Warwickshire, and I am incredibly proud of what we have achieved together and grateful to everyone who has supported my fundraising events. The generosity of our community has been truly inspiring.

Applying for Funding

Local charities, voluntary groups and community organisations are now invited to apply for a share of the Mayor’s Charity funds.

Applications can be made by completing the online application form: Application for Donation from the Mayor's Charity Account – Fill in form.

Please provide details of how the funding will benefit community groups in North Warwickshire.

The deadline for applications is Friday 19th June 2026 and successful applicants will be notified in due course.
