Residents, businesses, community groups and organisations are invited to submit nominations for the Pride of Place Awards 2026.
The Pride of Place Awards offer an opportunity to recognise projects that have enhanced the borough's built and natural environment, celebrated local heritage, and contributed positively to local communities.
Residents, businesses, developers, community groups, and organisations across North Warwickshire are being asked to put forward their nominations for the Pride of Place Awards 2026.
The new awards, organised and sponsored by North Warwickshire Borough Council, have been created to recognise and celebrate the buildings, places and projects that contribute to making the borough a great place to live, work and visit.
The awards will recognise excellence across a wide range of projects, from large or small building projects, the restoration of historic buildings and heritage sites to environmental improvements and community-led initiatives. Whether it is a beautifully renovated listed building, an improved public space, a sustainable development or a project that has brought a community asset to life, the awards aim to showcase the projects helping to shape the future of North Warwickshire while preserving its unique character.
There are eight award categories:
- New Development Award (Large Scale)
- New Development Award (Small Scale)
- Heritage Conservation Award
- Regeneration and Reuse Award
- Sustainability Award
- Landscape and Public Realm Award
- Community Project Award
- Judges Special Recognition Award

Nominations close on 2 October 2026.
Councillor Mark Simpson, Chairman of the Planning and Development Board, said:
"We are delighted to launch the first-ever Pride of Place Awards and are encouraging residents, businesses, developers, community groups and organisations to get involved by submitting nominations.
"Across North Warwickshire there are so many wonderful buildings, spaces and community projects that deserve recognition. These awards will celebrate the people, organisations and volunteers whose hard work helps preserve our heritage, improve our environment, and create places that local communities can be proud of.
"If you know of a project, building, public space or initiative that has made a positive difference, we would love to hear about it. I encourage everyone to take a look at the categories and submit their nominations."
