New play area equipment at Bretts Hall, Ansley Common
Published on Wednesday, 28th March 2018
As you may already be aware, the Borough Council has been installing new play equipment at Bretts Hall Recreation Ground.
Completion of the play area has been delayed, partly due to inclement weather however it is very close to being finalised.
The Borough Council was made aware that some of the safety fencing was down last week and that children were using the play equipment.
We understand that the new play area looks exciting and almost complete however we must remind you that for safety reasons not to use the play area until the fencing has been removed.
Not all parts of the equipment have been fully fitted, the ground is very wet and susceptible to damage and the grass seed needs to have time to grow.
The Borough Council along with Ansley Common Residents Association (ACRA) hope to be holding a celebration event to mark the completion of the play area in May.
If you have any questions please contact us on 01827 719492.
We hope that you can join us at the celebration event in May.
