Temporary Road Closure of B5000 Grendon Road and Common Lane, Polesworth

Closure starts 3rd March 2019 works will be carried out between 9:30 and 15:30
Warwickshire County Council proposes to make a Temporary Traffic Order closing B5000 Grendon Road & Common Lane, Polesworth to vehicular traffic as indicated below.
Grendon Road - closed from its junction with Byford Drive and Market Street.
Common Lane - closed from its junction with Grendon Road and Potters Lane.
Access to and egress from Abbey Green Court may be affected while works are in progress.
The closure is required to facilitate carriageway resurfacing and associated works
The Order will commence on 3 March 2019 and will last for a period of 18 months, or until the works are completed, whichever is the earlier. However, it is anticipated that the works will be completed by 18 March 2019.
PLEASE NOTE: The works will be carried out between 09.30hrs and 15.30hrs.
Pedestrian access to and egress from properties and land situated adjacent to the length of road to be closed will be maintained at all times. Vehicular access will be maintained where possible.
Alternative routes will be signed and are available via:
- Potters Lane, Market Street and vice versa.
- B5000 Grendon Road, B4116 Atherstone Road, B4116 Old Holly Lane, B4116 Holly Lane, A5 Watling Street, B5080 Pennine Way, B5000 Glascote Road, B5000 Tamworth Road and vice versa.
