Let's avoid a local lockdown this bank holiday

If you're planning on celebrating this bank holiday, remember to socially distance, wash your hands regularly and wear a mask if required.
Residents are being urged to "stick to the rules" around social distancing over the bank holiday weekend to prevent rising the infection rate and a local lockdown.
As it stands, the rules allow members of two households to meet indoors however the two parties should maintain social distancing.
Residents can meet up to six people, who do not live with them, in an outdoor setting, but must socially distance. More are allowed if they are exclusively from two households.
Face coverings are mandatory in locations such as supermarkets, takeaway outlets and post offices unless you have a good reason not to wear one.
