North Warwickshire, along with the rest of Warwickshire, will remain in Tier 1 – ‘Medium’ – for the time being
Following a meeting of the Leaders and Chief Executives of all Warwickshire borough/district and county councils on the 29th October, it has been agreed that North Warwickshire, along with the rest of the county, will remain in Tier 1 – ‘Medium’ – for the time being. For restrictions and laws relating to 'Medium' Tier 1 restrictions visit: https://www.gov.uk/guidance/local-covid-alert-levels-what-you-need-to-know#local-covid-alert-level-medium
However, cases of COVID-19 continue to rise both in North Warwickshire and the rest of Warwickshire, and remaining in Tier 1 is under a rolling review.
We now all need to do our bit to help stop the spread and avoid a move into Tier 2.
Take a moment to remind yourself of the Tier 1 restrictions and, as an extra precaution, please do not visit friends or family at their homes, unless they form part of your support bubble.
Please do not visit care homes.
In addition to the Tier 1 restrictions, remember the basics – HANDS, FACE, SPACE.
Together, we can do this. Let’s do what’s #RightForNorthWarwickshire
