9th March 2025 marks COVID-19 Reflection Day.

To mark the fifth anniversary of the COVID-19 Pandemic, 9th March is dedicated to reflecting on the past 5 years, to remember the struggles and challenges we faced during the lockdown period as a community. COVID-19 Reflection Day is important to remember friends, family, and loved ones that we sadly lost during the pandemic.

There are lots of ways you can take part in the Day of Reflection, whether it’s organising your own ways to remember in your community, joining a local event or remembering in your own way at home. You can take part in a way that feels right for you.

COVID 19 Day of Reflection is also a chance to pay tribute to the tireless and amazing work of health and social care staff, frontline workers, researchers, volunteers and so many more individuals who showed up during the most uncertain of times. Your hard work during these difficult years will never be forgotten.

The pandemic was a confusing, mentally and physically challenging few years. We would like to take the 9th March to reflect and remember every part of the pandemic that changed our lives completely.
