Essential Ground Investigation Works – Memorial Hall Car Park
Published on Tuesday, 6th December 2022
There will be some disruption to residents, businesses, and Leisure Complex users between the evening of Thursday 8th December and the afternoon of Wednesday 14th December.
This is while the Borough Council undertakes essential ground investigation works on the car parks adjacent to the Memorial Hall and Leisure Complex. While the car park and access road will remain open for the whole duration of the works, over this period, as many as 16 to 20 car parking spaces may, at times, be unavailable. Alternative parking is provided at Sheepy Road car park. One of the pedestrian access ramps from Croft Road will also be closed over this period, but the path at the eastern end of Croft Road will remain open throughout.
The Council and its contractors will aim to keep the level of disruption to a minimum and to conclude the works and fully reopen the car park at the earliest opportunities. We would like to thank everyone affected for their patience and understanding.
