This May, the nation will come together to celebrate the Coronation of King Charles III.

North Warwickshire Borough Council is helping the community to celebrate this historic event by offering two grant schemes:

Up to £500 to parish councils, town councils and constituted groups for community-based activities, or:

£100 to community groups or individuals for street parties held within the borough on Saturday 6th, Sunday 7th or Monday 8th May 2023.

Leader of the Council Cllr David Wright said; “National celebrations are to take place over the weekend of the 6 to 8 May 2023 and we want as many North Warwickshire residents as possible to get involved.  Funding can be used for a get together with your group or organisation, to support street parties or to organise and/or provide equipment for local volunteering activities.”

Applications are open from Thursday 23rd February to Thursday 23rd March 2023.

Groups and individuals can complete an application online (link below) which will be sent to their local councillor for endorsement.

A panel of councillors will determine the outcome of the Coronation Grant Applications following the closing date and applicants will be informed of the result the following week.
