The current scheme has been in place since 2013. It meets legislative requirements for assessing the housing needs of our applicants. Our Councillors have reviewed the scheme and have decided that it continues to meet those requirements but have suggested some changes to ensure all applicants can be assisted with their housing needs.

Our proposals are intended to give a greater focus to applicants and provide more flexibility to enable us to make the best use of our council homes.

We would welcome your feedback on the proposals by no later than Monday 4 September 2023 please.
