Police and Crime Commissioner Elections 2024

On 2 May 2024, the election of the Police and Crime Commissioner (PCC) for Warwickshire will be held.

North Warwickshire is in the Warwickshire Police area and voters will be asked to vote for one candidate to become PCC.

What will I be voting for at these elections?

The role of the Police and Crime Commissioner (PCC) is to be the voice of the people and hold the police to account. They are responsible for the totality of policing. PCCs aim to cut crime and deliver an effective and efficient police service within their police force area.

Every registered voter in Warwickshire will be able to vote in the Warwickshire Police and Crime Commissioner elections on Thursday 2 May 2024. 

The voting system for this election has changed. The voting system for these elections will be first-past-the-post, meaning that each voter can vote for ONE candidate only. The candidate with the most votes wins.
