Report a dead animal

We are responsible for the removal of dead animals from public roads such as:

  • Squirrels
  • Rabbits
  • Badgers
  • Foxes
  • Muntjac deer
  • Cats
  • Dogs

These will usually be removed within 24 hours of being reported (Monday to Friday).

Please report any of the above dead animals online below

Report a problem

Large dead animals (such as a cow, horse and sheep) need to be reported to Warwickshire County Council on 01675 463833.

Dead birds such as swans, ducks and geese need to be reported to DEFRA on 0345 935 5577

Please note we will not remove dead animals from private land.

Lost pets

We keep a register of all dead cats and dogs that we collect. After collection we will store the cat or dog in a deep freeze for a period of time, not less than two weeks, in case an owner is identified. If nobody comes forward the cat or dog is cremated.

If you are unfortunate enough to lose your pet, please contact us on 01827 715 341.
