Today, 14th June 2025, the Cancer Bus made a stop at Atherstone Leisure Complex, bringing vital health information and support directly to the local community.
The Cancer Bus, part of a wider initiative to promote cancer awareness, provided free advice on cancer screening programmes and the importance of early detection. Health experts were on hand to speak with residents, answer questions, and encourage participation in routine screenings.
In addition to the screening information, visitors also learned about the range of local support services available to those supported by cancer, offering reassurance and practical guidance.
The event was well received by the community, highlighting the value of open conversations about cancer and ensuring people feel supported and informed when it comes to their health.
