On 22nd of May 2025, our waste crew discovered a serious incident in Mancetter near Cadman Close. A container of motor oil was wrongly placed in a 1100L household waste bin.
The oil spilled into the refuse truck, contaminating the entire load and vehicle.
Following an investigation, a local resident admitted responsibility and received a £1,000 fine under Section 33 of the Environmental Protection Act 1990.
