Personal information - When you visit our website our web server adds your IP Address to its access logs which are used, if necessary, to identify the origin of any malicious requests or attacks we may receive.

These access logs are also used to tell us how many people visit our site and what pages are most popular; we use this information to improve how our website works. We delete these logs after 2 years.

Google analytics

IP addresses collected by Google Analytics on our website are anonymised - the last portion/octet of your IP Address is replaced with a ‘0’.

These anonymised IP Addresses are then deleted after 26 months.

We use Google Analytics mainly to analyse

  • Type of device used to browse our site – mobile / desktop
  • Browser – chrome, safari, firefox, internet explorer
  • What customers search for

Online job applications

Job applications are deleted after 6 months.

This site uses cookies in order to provide a service to visitors. No personal data is stored in cookies and cookies are not used in order to provide advertising. Cookies are used for the following purposes:

Online forms and other online services

Other online services, such as Council Tax, Benefits, Housing and Leisure, require user names and passwords to sign in. We make sure these details are kept securely in our systems but you are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account password and details; this includes restricting access your own computers or devices (phone, tablet etc) - make sure you have a complex password i.e. it contains upper and lower case letters, numbers and a special character such as !"£$%^&. Any council service that you can apply for online will have its own Privacy Statement. These will be available here soon.
