Baxterely Park underwent a renovation and reopened on the 26th July.

In July, it was announced that Atherstone would host the Lloyds Tour of Britain Men on 5th September.

Flexible Plastic Recycling scheme was introduced at the end of July.

The Local Government Reorganisation survey opened on 7th August. We have had 141 responses.

The Community Governance Review - Caldecote consultation closed on the 12th August, with 29 responses. The submissions will be considered at Executive Board on 15th September 2025.

Annual Canvass started mid-August. The annual canvass checks who lives at each address to keep the electoral register accurate.

Councillors deferred 6, referred 1 and granted 3 planning applications at Planning boards. You can watch all Board Meetings on our official YouTube channel. 

Councillors acknowledged the annual transformation team updates.

Councillors selected Option 2 as their preferred two two-unitary model for LGR.

Councillors noted a report on the implementation of the residents’ app and recommended that a member working group on simpler recycling be formed.
