With the Council’s declaration of a Climate Emergency on the 22nd of October 2019, the creation of the initial Climate Action plan and the continued work to achieving net-zero emissions the Council is committed to playing our role and support residents, businesses and visitors to our County to reduce emissions and ensure North Warwickshire continues to thrive. As a result, in 2022, the Cabinet adopted a Draft Climate Change Action Plan, which outlines our objectives as a Council.
The Council has set out to become a Net-Zero organisation by 2050, seeking to reduce the Council’s emissions while also protecting and enhancing the Borough’s natural environment for both people and wildlife.
