We have an exciting opportunity to become part of the Leisure team at Atherstone Leisure Complex. We have casual Lifeguard vacancies available at this busy facility.
Duties of the post include the supervision of the pools and members of public, responding effectively to emergency situations, using poolside safety equipment as appropriate. You will be responsible for setting up of equipment, and the cleanliness of the pool areas and equipment. A good practical knowledge of health and safety in swimming pools is essential, as is the ability to respond in an emergency situation. Hours are as and when required.
This post is exempted under the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and, as such, appointment will be conditional upon receipt of a satisfactory response to a check of criminal records via the Disclosure and Barring Service, before the appointment is confirmed. This will include details of cautions, reprimands or final warnings, as well as convictions. An Enhanced Disclosure will be required.
