IT Apprentice - Service Desk

£7.55 to £12.21 per hour (dependant on age) 
37 hours per week 

We are seeking to appoint an IT Apprentice to be part of our small Service Desk team.  

You will be expected to work as part of a small team carrying out support activities to the Council’s users, IT infrastructure, printers, telephones and hardware (including PCs, mobile devices and laptops), and the rollout of Windows 11. 

You must have an interest in IT and be willing to obtain a qualification in IT Support Technician Apprenticeship with Baltic Apprenticeships.  This is via online study, but is led by a tutor, and there will be workplace projects to complete.  

The role is office based with a 2-day study block every 6 weeks.

You’ll need to be adaptable, flexible, positive and get along well with colleagues.
