We are looking for experienced instructor to instruct customers safely and effectively into the gym environment in a professional manner.  We want our customers to achieve their personal fitness goals but also to enjoy their time here. The role will also include administrative duties on the reception desk & cleaning duties.

The job role will require a minimum of NVQ level 2 (YMCA or equivalent) and some experience in gym instruction. The role includes:
•    Planning, instructing, and evaluating safe and appropriate exercise to an individual or group, providing adaptations or alternatives for varying levels of fitness. 
•    Monitor gym members, correcting and praising techniques; along helping with the promotions of any health initiatives that we advertise.
•    Being approachable, with a welcoming attitude, to act as a positive role model and motivate members to promote retention and adherence to exercise. 
•    The role will include additional tasks to help maintain a clean and presentable facility. 

The post is exempted under the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and, as such, appointment will be conditional upon receipt of a satisfactory response to a check of criminal records via the Disclosure and Barring Service, before the appointment is confirmed.  This will include details of cautions, reprimands, or final warnings, as well as convictions. An Enhanced Disclosure will be required.
